What is Cooperative Education?

Cooperative education is an understanding of education based on university-business cooperation principle for students who are applied only at TOBB ETÜ to graduate with work experience.

• Cooperative Education Model is a programmatic education strategy that reinforces students' professional development by working in a field related to their profession during their education.
• At TOBB ETÜ, our undergraduate students work 3 times in their workplaces for 3.5 months from the third year of their education and graduate with a total work experience of about 1 year.

• Our students, who apply the current knowledge they have learned in the courses in business life, also ensure that their education programs are kept up-to-date by transferring their experiences in joint education to the university.
• In the cooperative education system, the student develops both himself, his university and the institution he works for as a tool of university-industry cooperation.
